Geotechnical Engineer/Geo-environmental Engineer/Engineering Geologist

Uxbridge Office

Jomas are recruiting for Geotechnical Engineer/Geo-environmental Engineer/Engineering Geologist to join our well-established and experienced team.

 

Based in our office in Uxbridge, the successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with geotechnical and geo-environmental projects across the UK, as directed by Project Principals.

 

Duties

• Undertaking desk studies

• Overseeing ground investigations

• Soil and rock logging to current geotechnical standards and laboratory scheduling

• Collating data and writing factual and interpretative reports

• Managing own projects from start to completion.

• Liaise with clients and suppliers

 

Key Qualifications, Skills and Experience

  • We are specifically looking for candidates that have a minimum of two years of relevant experience in the planning and supervision of ground investigations, and preparation of factual and interpretative reports.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • A proven desire and aptitude to create and maintain internal and external client relationships.

  • Full UK driving licence.

 

The successful candidate will work alongside and in cooperation with, our team of Geotechnical Engineers, Environmental and Geo- environmental Specialists working on projects throughout the UK.
